President's Message

Hello All Seasons,
Yes its time to lace up the cleats, adjust your hat, lick your fingertips and put on the glove. It’s All Seasons’ Annual club picnic and Northern California Ski Club Softball Challenge. Yes All Seasons “3 Strikes Law” softball team will be there to take on all who dare to share the diamond with them. We have new uniform tees, a new attitude and a new park, wear your red/black All Seasons hats to match our new team colors.

Ahhh, we had a great time at Montelago Resort at Lake Las Vegas. The lodging was 1st rate, the nightly entertainment on the waterfront was outstanding and the weather was, well---it is Summer Carnival. We played pool games, we golfed, there were kayak races and the parties were packed and fun. The free margaritas and daiquiri’s were available all weekend long, all day, all night. I want to thank our trip leaders Patsy Cunningham and Marc Gage. I also want to thank the Summer Carnival staff for putting on a great event.

I received an email from Catherine Kerr, Errol’s mom, she states “ Errol scored some awesome points this week at the Coronet races in New Zealand. He finished fourth in the Giant Slalom on both days, scoring 40 and 42 points. This is a dramatic result for him, it helped him lower is points from 61 to 41 in the Giant Slalom” Since the 26th of July, Errol has been training at Mt. Hutt, New Zealand.

Your trip leaders have the trip pkgs. and are ready to accept deposits and lodging choices, If you have never been to the Canyons or skied Utah, this is a great place with excellent snow. Call Claudette and get onboard.

We have 40+ people already booked for this outstanding resort. I’ve already told you about this place, I can’t praise it anymore than I have and I can tell by the response you want to experience it for the first time or you just have to get back there to do it again. We can still take more, we want 75, 90, 100 participants, call your trip leaders.

Keep gasoline in approved containers. // Matches and lighters are for adults only.

Gary D. Garrett,
President All Seasons Ski Club

Question: Why did you join All Seasons?
I joined All Seasons because my husband does not ski and I have only a couple girlfriends that do so I am seeking out other folks with whom I can hit the slopes. Also, I'm a relatively new skier so I'm hoping more days on the slopes will help me to advance. Special interests: Within the club, I'd be interested in community service projects.
Outside of the club, I'm passionate about wine, I dabble in black & white photography, and I'm training for my first 1/2 marathon.

Question: Why did you join All Seasons?
Oh my
I joined the club to network and get to know other people of color who enjoy the outdoors. I am very interested in hiking, biking and camping. I am a novice so I look forward to learning how to hike and camp correctly and safely and have a great time doing it.
Vendors for September's General Meeting
Single in the City

What’s not to love about being single? Come meet Jerusha Stewart, author of The Single Girl’s Manifesta: Living In a Stupendously Superior Single State of Mind, for lively conversation and book signing. She has been featured on The Tyra Banks Show,” San Francisco's “The View From The Bay” and KRON 4 Morning News, Good Morning San Diego and national radio from coast to coast. Jerusha fans the flames of non-conjugal bliss in articles for Match.com and in her blog Born Single, a fly-on-the-wall account of living single in a married world. She dates all over the world, but the San Francisco Bay Area is her current playground. Learn more about the other happy ending and recite The Singles Declaration of Independence at www.TheLastSingleGirlintheWorld.com.
Do You Love Candles?

I am an Independent Consultant for PartyLite Gifts. I would like to offer you a chance to earn free candles and accessories in your home. By opening your home for a few hours, and inviting your friends and family, you will be able to earn over $100 in free merchandise and earn half-price items. It is a fun way for you and your friends to shop from your seat, not your feet!

Come to the ASSC meeting on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 to see a beautiful display of some of the accessories that Partylite has to offer. I will also have some candles to sell to you die-hard candle lovers that day. If I do not have what you want, please feel free to order, (with payment), and I will have it for you at the October meeting. The first ten people to order something at the meeting will receive 10% off of their order.
