President's MessageGary's Photo

Happy New Year All Seasons,

It's Snowing!! It's Snowing!!! And here's hoping for a continued dumping of the fluffy white stuff as we begin the new year. Yes its looks like the storms are finally coming back 2 back, this should make for a great Winter Carnival in two weeks. Yes its almost here, our premier family ski weekend. Ski all day and party all night and that goes for the youth also. Plenty of activities for all, whether you ski or not, this is Tahoe.

Are you ready for some Funk?? The United Funk All-Stars will be performing a Concert for us at Caesar's Tahoe. What? You never heard of them, well check this out: Dazz Band, SOS Band and Con Funk Shun. Call your trip leader and get your tickets now! There will be a VIP reception before the Concert and your ticket stub will get you into Club Nero so you can party till you drop after the concert. Of course NBS Partners will receive a special discount on tickets.

Family/Beginner Ski Trip: We had our first ski trip of the season on December 17th, we visited Northstar-at-Tahoe and by all accounts everyone had a good time. I want thank our trip leader Debi Dohm for leading another successful All Seasons event.

Youth Racer in Action: All Seasons own Errol Kerr placed a solid 21st place at the Nor Ams in Canada. He is also named among the top 20 juniors in the country ranking 11th in Ski Racing magazine. Errol has again received an invite to fly to Europe to ski the Europa Cup Races in preparation for the Junior Worlds. This is an excellent opportunity for Errol and I am proud to say that the NBS has agreed to finance his ticket to Europe.

Don't forget to put on your seatbelts, drive safely and always carry chains as you head towards the mountains, the weather can change at any time. are a lot less expensive down here than up there. See ya on the slopes.

Thinking Snow,
Gary Gary D. Garrett
President All Seasons Ski Club
